Who we are (data controller)

FORG is operated by Arctic Degen (business ID / Y-tunnus 2627137-8), a sole trader established in Finland. Contact: info@forg.fit.

Under the EU GDPR, the "data controller" is the party responsible for your personal data — who decides why and how it is used.

In short

FORG runs on your device. There is no FORG account and no FORG server. We do not receive your workouts, your screen-time data, or anything else you do in the app. The one exception is a Google library used to count your reps, which sends Google technical diagnostics on iOS (section 3).

During the TestFlight beta

Right now FORG runs entirely on your device. There is no account and no cloud backup: the sign-in screen and the leaderboard are switched off in this build. FORG runs no analytics and no crash reporting, and the app sends nothing to our servers. Your minutes, workout history and settings are stored only on your phone, and deleting the app deletes them with it.

Camera analysis uses Google's ML Kit, which runs on your device. It may report its own technical diagnostics to Google. No image, video frame or body landmark ever leaves your phone.

The sections below describe how accounts, sync and the leaderboard will work once we switch them on. We will update the date at the top of this page on the day that happens.

1. What the app stores

The app keeps the following only on your device: your earned minutes, your streak, your workout history (reps, duration, dates), your settings, and the list of apps you chose to block. This never leaves your phone and is deleted when you delete the app. We never receive it.

2. Camera

FORG uses the camera to count your reps on the device. Movement detection runs on-device. We do not store video, frames, or images, and nothing from the camera is transmitted to us or to anyone else.

3. Rep-counting technology (Google ML Kit)

Rep counting uses Google's ML Kit library. On iOS, ML Kit sends Google a device identifier and diagnostic and performance data for Google's own analytics. This does not include the camera image or your workout results. Google acts as an independent controller for this data — see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. On Android the app has no network access at all, so nothing is sent.

4. Website

This privacy policy and our terms are published as web pages at forg.fit, hosted by Vercel. Visiting them is separate from using the app. These pages do not use tracking or analytics cookies.

5. Legal basis for processing

Because the app stores your data only on your own device and sends us nothing, we carry out no cloud processing of your personal data today. The only third-party data flow is Google's ML Kit diagnostics (section 3), for which Google is responsible. If we later add optional accounts, cloud backup, an online leaderboard, or subscriptions, we will update this policy and rely on the appropriate legal bases — contract for the core service, and your explicit consent where required — before that processing begins.

6. Data retention

Your data lives only on your device, so you control it. Deleting the FORG app erases all of it. We keep nothing, because we never received it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. Because your data is on your own device, you exercise these directly: deleting the app erases everything. For any request or question, contact info@forg.fit.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutettu, tietosuoja.fi).

8. International transfers

The Google ML Kit diagnostics (section 3) may be processed by Google outside the EU, including in the United States, under Google's own safeguards. We make no other international transfers.

9. Children

FORG is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. (In Finland, the age for consenting to information-society services is 13.)

10. Changes to this policy

If the app changes what it does with data — for example, if optional accounts, cloud sync, a leaderboard, or subscriptions are added — we will update this policy before that change ships, and update the "last updated" date above.

Lyhyesti

FORG toimii puhelimessasi. FORGilla ei ole tiliä eikä palvelinta. Emme saa treenejäsi, ruutuaikatietojasi emmekä mitään muutakaan mitä teet sovelluksessa. Ainoa poikkeus on Google-kirjasto, jolla toistot lasketaan; se lähettää iOS:llä Googlelle teknistä diagnostiikkaa (kohta 3).

TestFlight-betan aikana

FORG toimii juuri nyt kokonaan laitteessasi. FORGilla ei ole tiliä eikä pilvivarmuuskopiointia: kirjautumisruutu ja tulostaulu on kytketty pois tässä versiossa. FORG ei käytä analytiikkaa eikä kaatumisraportointia, eikä sovellus lähetä mitään palvelimillemme. Minuuttisi, treenihistoriasi ja asetuksesi tallentuvat vain puhelimeesi, ja ne häviävät, kun poistat sovelluksen.

Kameran analyysi käyttää Googlen ML Kit -kirjastoa, joka toimii laitteessasi. Se voi raportoida omaa teknistä diagnostiikkaansa Googlelle. Yksikään kuva, videoruutu tai kehon pistetieto ei koskaan poistu puhelimestasi.

Alla olevat kohdat kuvaavat, miten tilit, synkronointi ja tulostaulu toimivat, kun ne otetaan käyttöön. Päivitämme tämän sivun yläreunan päivämäärän sinä päivänä, kun se tapahtuu.

1. Mitä sovellus tallentaa

Sovellus säilyttää seuraavat vain laitteessasi: ansaitut minuutit, striikin, treenihistorian (toistot, kesto, päivämäärät), asetukset ja valitsemasi estettävät sovellukset. Tämä ei koskaan poistu puhelimestasi ja häviää, kun poistat sovelluksen. Emme koskaan vastaanota sitä.

2. Kamera

FORG käyttää kameraa toistojen laskemiseen laitteessa. Liikkeentunnistus tapahtuu laitteessa. Emme tallenna videota, ruutuja emmekä kuvia, eikä kamerasta lähetetä mitään meille tai kenellekään muulle.

3. Toistojen laskennan teknologia (Google ML Kit)

Toistojen laskenta käyttää Googlen ML Kit -kirjastoa. iOS:llä ML Kit lähettää Googlelle laitetunnisteen sekä diagnostiikka- ja suorituskykytietoa Googlen omaa analytiikkaa varten. Tähän ei sisälly kamerakuvaa eikä treenituloksiasi. Google toimii tämän tiedon osalta itsenäisenä rekisterinpitäjänä — ks. Googlen tietosuojakäytäntö: policies.google.com/privacy. Androidilla sovelluksella ei ole lainkaan verkkoyhteyttä, joten mitään ei lähetetä.

4. Verkkosivut

Tämä tietosuojaseloste ja käyttöehdot on julkaistu verkkosivuina osoitteessa forg.fit, jonka tarjoaa Vercel. Sivujen katselu on erillistä sovelluksen käytöstä. Sivut eivät käytä seuranta- tai analytiikkaevästeitä.

5. Käsittelyn oikeusperuste

Koska sovellus tallentaa tietosi vain omaan laitteeseesi eikä lähetä meille mitään, emme tee mitään pilvipohjaista henkilötietojesi käsittelyä tänään. Ainoa kolmannen osapuolen tietovirta on Googlen ML Kit -diagnostiikka (kohta 3), josta Google vastaa. Jos lisäämme myöhemmin valinnaiset tilit, pilvivarmuuskopioinnin, tulostaulun tai tilaukset, päivitämme tämän selosteen ja nojaamme asianmukaisiin oikeusperusteisiin — sopimukseen ydinpalvelun osalta ja nimenomaiseen suostumukseesi siellä missä sitä vaaditaan — ennen kuin käsittely alkaa.

6. Tietojen säilytys

Tietosi ovat vain laitteessasi, joten hallitset niitä itse. FORG-sovelluksen poistaminen pyyhkii ne kaikki. Emme säilytä mitään, koska emme koskaan saaneet sitä.

7. Oikeutesi

GDPR:n nojalla sinulla on oikeus saada pääsy tietoihin, oikaista ne, poistaa ne, rajoittaa käsittelyä, siirtää tiedot sekä vastustaa käsittelyä, ja oikeus peruuttaa suostumus. Koska tietosi ovat omassa laitteessasi, käytät näitä oikeuksia suoraan: sovelluksen poistaminen pyyhkii kaiken. Pyynnöt ja kysymykset: info@forg.fit.

Sinulla on myös oikeus tehdä valitus tietosuojavaltuutetulle (tietosuoja.fi).

8. Kansainväliset siirrot

Googlen ML Kit -diagnostiikkaa (kohta 3) voidaan käsitellä Googlen toimesta EU:n ulkopuolella, myös Yhdysvalloissa, Googlen omien suojatoimien mukaisesti. Muita kansainvälisiä siirtoja emme tee.

9. Lapset

FORGia ei ole suunnattu alle 13-vuotiaille lapsille, eikä se tietoisesti kerää lasten henkilötietoja. (Suomessa tietoyhteiskunnan palveluihin suostumisen ikäraja on 13 vuotta.)

10. Muutokset selosteeseen

Jos sovellus muuttaa sitä mitä se tekee tiedoilla — esimerkiksi jos lisätään valinnaiset tilit, pilvisynkronointi, tulostaulu tai tilaukset — päivitämme tämän selosteen ennen kuin muutos julkaistaan, ja päivitämme yllä olevan päivämäärän.
